Hi I’m Link,
My style of bodywork is a multi-modality approach that works on many levels and systems of the body. I like to customize my sessions to meet each individual’s particular needs with an approach that is both highly intuitive and also deeply analytical.
With a background rooted in Thai Massage, I combine eastern techniques with western anatomical knowledge and incorporate passive stretching and rocking into my massage. Clients often say that they love the integration of Thai-style stretches with a deep tissue focus that is both relaxing and pain relieving.
The most important aspect of my work is the ability to listen to the needs of the body and provide integrative massage therapy that is rebalancing and revitalizing.
Hi I’m Melyssa,
I graduated from National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA. After graduating, I pursued my passion to expand my knowledge on eastern modalities and traveled to Thailand to attend Thai Massage School of Chiang Mai.
I believe that self care is a vital factor in overall spiritual and physical wellbeing. Massage can facilitate health by balancing and releasing the bodies energy. I combine both eastern and western modalities with a holistic touch to tailor my clients personal needs and aid in healing.
Come see me on your path to self care!
Hi, I'm Mai,
I've been doing massage for twelve years now. It was my first job and I want it to be my last job. I love what I do as I get to meet great people and share my own style of massage. I like to adapt each massage to the needs of my client, often mixing eastern and western styles. My clients often say I have a good touch and caring energy, this makes me feel really good about what I do.
I grew up in the countryside of Vietnam. I started doing massage when I was 17 years old because my parents didn't have money to send me to college. Working as a massage therapist I was able to support my family back home and send all my brothers and sisters to school. I didn't like to do it at fist because it wasn't my first choice and in Vietnam I didn’t earn a lot of respect from people as a massage therapist. Gradually I came to love doing massage because everyone tell me I’m really good at what I’m doing.
When I came to America I worked part time so I could go to school to get my California state massage license. For the last four years I've been working at ZaZen, the Westin St. Francis Hotel and now I’m working for myself . I always wanted to open my own business some day so I could continue to help people. But not just the clients i see. I also want to give our staff an opportunity to do something they love and maybe even help their friends and families still living in the places they came from.
I have close to 2,000 hours of training in different modalities of massage. I teach Thai massage for Thai and Vietnamese people. I believe the best way to learn is to study with people with a lot of experience and be open to listening to the body to see what it needs.
The most important thing is that I really love what I do! Most of the time when working with clients it feels like working with a friend. I feel very lucky this way.
Thank you for taking your time to get to know me, I hope to see you soon.
