Hi I am Sami,

I began my journey in the healing arts eight years ago studying Yoga and Vipassana Mediation. For the past three years I have been practicing massage in both eastern and western traditions. I offer integrative, intuitive based sessions combining Thai Massage, Cranio Sacral, Deep Tissue, Swedish and Vipassana meditation.

I find great joy in creating a safe space for clients to quiet their minds and relax their nervous systems in order to unwind both physical and emotional tension patterns stored in the body. I believe our bodies have their own innate wisdom to heal themselves and it is important we slow down enough to be able to listen to what they need.

I look forward to having the opportunity to aid you on your journey in cultivating more space in your body, mind and heart!

Hi, I'm Mai,

I've been doing massage for twenty years now. It was my first job and I want it to be my last job. I love what I do as I get to meet great people and share my own style of massage. I like to adapt each massage to the needs of my client, often mixing eastern and western styles. My clients often say I have a good touch and caring energy, this makes me feel really good about what I do.

I grew up in the countryside of Vietnam. I started doing massage when I was 17 years old because my parents didn't have money to send me to college.  Working as a massage therapist I was able to support my family back home and send all my brothers and sisters to school.  I didn't like to do it at fist because it wasn't my first choice and in Vietnam I didn’t earn a lot of respect from people as a massage therapist. Gradually  I came to love doing massage because everyone tell me I’m really good at what I’m doing.

When I came to America I worked part time so I could go to school to get my California state massage license. For the last four years I've been working at ZaZen, the Westin St. Francis Hotel and now I’m working for myself . I always wanted to open my own business some day so I could continue to help people. But not just the clients i see. I also want to give our staff an opportunity to do something they love and maybe even help their friends and families still living in the places they came from.

I have close to 2,000 hours of training in different  modalities of massage. I teach Thai massage for Thai and Vietnamese people.   I believe the best way to learn is to study with  people with a lot of experience and be open to listening to the body to see what it needs.

The most important  thing is that I really love what I do! Most of the time when working with  clients it feels like working with a friend. I feel very lucky this way.

Thank you for taking your time to get to know me, I hope to see you soon.
